Hello and welcome to DPAC Biology!
This is my seventh year teaching, and I’m so excited for the year ahead. Biology is an amazing subject, and I’m confident you’re going to love it as much as I do. In our class, we’ll explore the wonders of life science in fun, engaging, and hands-on ways that make learning exciting.

I’m a proud mom of two—an adventurous 3-year-old boy and a sweet 9-month-old girl—and I love spending time with my family. Teaching runs in the family, too! My mom and sister-in-law both work in the district, so we truly LOVE being part of Deer Park.
I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University, where I was also a member of the track team. I currently coach girls’ track and have a true passion for both teaching and coaching. I’m also working toward my master’s degree at Lamar University—so Axe ’Em and Peck ’Em! I’m so excited to have you in my class this year.
