Mrs. Montgomery's Bio Page

Hello! My name is Mrs. Montgomery.

This is my 5th year at North Campus and I am so excited for yet another year (Go Deer!).

Previously, I taught for 3 wonderful years at Bonnette JH (Go Bobcats!)

I grew up as a military kid and have lived in 12 states. I graduated high school in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I attended a small high school of about 400. As a student, I was very involved in Choir and Theater, and served as Student Body President and Cheer Captain, as well as a 2-year member of the Colorado All-State Choir.

I am a proud Baylor University graduate! At Baylor, I was very involved in not just my major (Choral Music Education) but I also danced with a hip-hop crew and sang in New York City at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (think Pitch Perfect). I have loved being able to call myself a Texan for the last 12 years.

My husband is also a singer, and my sister in law (another Ms. Montgomery), is the Asst. Choir Director at Deepwater JH. Lots of music in our household! I have 2 sons, Simon (3) and Elliott (1), who love dancing, playing with monster trucks, and tackling (especially when I'm not looking).
