Mrs. Montgomery's Bio Page

Hello! My name is Mrs. Montgomery.

This is my 3rd year at North Campus after 3 wonderful years at Bonnette JH.

I am so excited for another year in Deer Park!

I grew up as a military kid and have lived in 12 states. I graduated high school in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I attended a small high school of about 400. As a student, I was very involved in Choir and Theater, and served as Student Body President and Cheer Captain, as well as a 2-year member of the Colorado All-State Choir.

I am a proud Baylor University graduate! At Baylor, I was very involved in not just my major (Choral Music Education) but I also danced with a hip-hop crew and sang in New York City at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (think Pitch Perfect). I have loved being able to call myself a Texan for the last 9 years.

My husband is the Asst. Choir Director at Fairmont Junior High, and my sister in law (another Ms. Montgomery), is the Asst. Choir Director at Deepwater JH. Lots of music in our household. We are the proud parents of our sweet 18-month-old son Simon and 60-pound standard poodle named Windsor (our original baby).
